All Journey models feature standard next-generation multistage driver and front-passenger airbags*, supplemental front seat-mounted side airbags*, and supplemental side-impact inflatable curtain airbags for all three rows* - that's six airbags of protection in total.

Additionally, an Occupant-Restraint Controller (ORC) deploys airbags as required. The two-stage output also helps the airbag system protect against airbag-induced injuries to small, unbelted or out-of-position occupants.
